Totally love this: "So much of what makes for a great innovator is not the ability to come up with a great idea -- but, rather, the ability to "merchandise" that great idea to others."

I would go as far as to say that the idea has to be communicated to the audience's level.

Many a great innovative ideas are captive within the innovator until and unless they are clearly communicated to those that can translate their ideas into realities.
